Sketch a day - Day 214/365

The endless task of trying to capture a portrait of our lovely cat Lara Darling. I tried twice. And I kind of got somewhere towards capturing her but not quite. She has the funniest face and the biggest heart. I love her. Other than that? Well it's been a day of work and trying to find singers to record a song for our show and admin and visiting my aunt and letter writing and cooking. One of those unremarkable days which actually add up to being the bedrock of your life. The kind of day where you feel the most like yourself. I used to find these kinds of day boring. Now? I am really thankful for them. Especially the food and peace. As I was eating our tea tonight I watched Jane and I couldn't help just feeling this immense thankfulness for our life. That we are lucky, to have what we have. I can't eat a meal at the moment without thinking about the hunger in this world. And in particular the planned starvation of a whole people. With that in mind. As ever. Free Palestine and may there be a ceasefire now and then peace, for all. That's what I am hoping for. That's all I have.
