Keighley
Sketch a day - Day 247/365
Today was about training with Tucker in the morning (he was so keen that he kept getting over excited and so couldn't concentrate. So couldn't work out what to do to get a reward. So then he threw everything he thought would get a reward at us (spins, rolls, etc) and then got frustrated when that didn't work. And that led to mega barking. And ultimately he ended up in the sin bin with our ever patient trainer Jan. Who is brilliant. He is like the naughty kid at the back of class who wants to be good but just can't help getting into shit and ending up outside the heads office).
This afternoon we went to Keighley. Jane came to help me flyer drop at shops for the Otherhood play (which is coming to Keighley Creative. Get your tickets now my darlings, because when the tix are gone, they’re gone). We bobbed into Keighley Creative and met a fab artist Leonie Briggs who had curated an exhibition all about Pigeons. Pigeobition - Keighley Creative https://share.google/4zQP2rGMPkMOSZxhs So lovely to meet someone passionate about our ruffty tuffty Pigeon pals. It's super sweet if you get a chance to pop down, do.
There are so many amazing buildings in Keighley. I had to draw these ones on north Street. I love the turrets and fancy rooves. I am finding myself in quite an impatient mood with drawing at the moment. I just want to throw paint around I think. Tucker and I are really very similar.
And that, other than to say, for god's sake free Palestine 🇵🇸 💔, is the news.
