Sketch a day - day 193/365

Hot again and I have been struggling to do anything other than wilt.

The bees were out in force earlier on the lilac. So gorgeous to see all the different types buzzing around together. Gives me a lot of hope.

Drawing bees on the other hand does not give me hope. I find them consistently impossible. I think perhaps because bees don't look like you expect them to look. When you look closely at them they look so strange. And amazing. But yeah. Very impossible to draw.

I should say that the lilac isn't pale blue but is actually lilac. But I had a pale blue pencil to hand. And the lilac pencil is upstairs and the idea of walking upstairs right now when it's so hot? No.
