Sketch a day - Day 30/365

Today was spent with Deborah Pakkar-Hull and it was all about planning and talking and bringing a team together. Because we’re cooking up a plan. And there’s alot to do. We also laughed a lot. Which is good. Because there are so many things to think about. All the juice will follow, in due course. Anyway. At the end of the day, I stood on the station platform, waiting for my train in that odd state that is floodlit darkness. When all of a sudden a great big steam train came clattering through. Steam and smoke bellowing. What a sight. It was magnificent and dramatic and then gone. A moment or two later a man appeared out of the steam, from the bottom of the platform, grinning the biggest smile. And then he was gone too. Leaving me thinking about ghost trains and what disperate things bring humans joy. And how it's good to see people really happy. And for now, that's the news.
