When is a doodle a sketch and a sketch a doodle?

I think it's fair to say that I am stretching the rules here. But I have decided to grant myself a special imaginary golden ‘do what the hell you like’ card. It's very liberating. Especially on days when one is rushing out the door towards Friday night fun.

So here we are. Some sketches of the little gulls that visit the canal and sit on a broken fence at the bottom of Micklethwaite. Good evening.
