Sketch a Day - Day 39/365
I set out to draw a bunch of daffodils in a repurposed coffee jar.
But then I got distracted by the people I saw at Leeds Station earlier this evening.
And the way drawings of people can so quickly become a game of letting your paint brush follow a line until it's just a shape and a dash and blur.
And how a flung down line sometimes feels like the memory of watching a young guy wish his train would turn up soon. Even if it doesn't really look like him. And sometimes that's way more pleasing than an overly sweated over bunch of damn daffodils. And that's ok. And that's the news.
