Sketch a day - Day 121/365

Today is a sketch a day milestone for me. Today is my 121st sketch. Which amounts to 1/3 of a year. We are 1/3 of a year into 2025! How the fuck did that happen? But it did. And here we are. Doing it. If you are reading this then that includes you. Somehow we got here. And the journey sure isn't perfect but we go on. Yes we do. SO I celebrated with a beer. And Jane had one too. And then I sketched the empty Tin and bottle.

It's been such a busy time with work and each time I look up, some autocratic person is having a fear vomit somewhere on this planet. That's what I see when I see Trump/Putin/Modi/Erdogan/Netanyahu/ insert your favourite populist nationalist dictator here/etc. Fear vomit. People driven by greed and fear. Pretending to be strong. Only weak people need to hurt other people to feel ok about themselves. Anyway. These folks and others (so many others right now) are spewing their hate into the world of love and life. But here we are. Doing what we do. Not giving in. Making and living and hoping and loving the world into a better being. Imperfectly. In our small ways. That's what I am thinking about as I think about this last 1/3 of a year, and my 121 sketches.
