Musical Writing Residency - Day 2

Sketch a day - Day 182/365

I am in musical writing zone today. We have had a busy morning, looking at the emotional beats of a story and trying out word brushstrokes for a new lyric.

After lunch we had a break. I went off to sketch in the village (Stathern). There are some fabulous old cottages here. As ever I got over excited and ended up trying to get too much into one sketch.

I think this section (above) makes more sense than the whole of the sketch (below).

But that said, I enjoyed drawing it all. So that's ok.

Now back to the musical.
