Jane strokes Tucker
Sketch a day - Day 208/365
I hit the deadline. I am tired. I am enjoying playing around with my digital sketch pad. I continue to enjoy it's different but the same qualities to drawing on paper. I like how it feels less imperative to catch exactly the right stroke. I can't delete as many times as I like. I like how I can get quick effects without having to wait for layers to dry. I like how I can later up true opaque line over line. I also don't feel certain that playing around with this app is really forcing me to learn the techniques and muscle memory that I am after. But it's fun. And I have found a way to print these drawings now too, so that feels exciting. Nonetheless I suspect the real work of getting any good is going to be done on a real page with a real nib.
That's all I have . No editing.
That's the news
