Sketch a day - Day 235/365
Today we have taken things slowly and I am so grateful for that. Slowing down.
We went to Asda to get some things in for the week. I stayed in the car because I tend to wander around when we go to the supermarket and slow things down.I like looking at how capitalism is serving us delights. It's fascinating and of course seductive.Today Jane said there was no ti.r for that kind of nonsense.not if we wanted to actually have any time to chill out. So she did her super quick focused shop and I drew the mosque opposite Asda. I like the mix of spiritual and functional . The shopping trolley port made smile. The mosque itself is a funny mix of functional and ornate. I like the beautiful curved roof and gold leaf. And best of all is the tower. But I didn't have space to draw it all. Once again my drawing fell off the page.
And that's just how it went today.
That's the news.
Other than of course to say , because we must, over and over. Free Palestine 🇵🇸 💔 no editing.
