Hair Cut Day

Sketch a day - Day 47/365

Our lovely hairdresser Chloe let's us take Tucker when we have our haircut on a Sunday morning. Tucker loves her. She spoils him with treats and it's turned out to be one of those events that is accidentally brilliant training for him. Because he has to practice being calm and settling down (not his natural state).

Anyway, this picture is one of those moments where I kick myself. I wish now I had just kept it focused on the chairs by the window. I am slowly getting to grips with the idea that drawings are better when they are focused. I think this is trying to capture everything and in the process has lost its way. But that's the glory of sketch a day. Tomorrow I go again. And perhaps it will be better. Or will please me more.
